      Abstract
Rumah Sakit Tentara (Army Hospital or RST) dr.Soedjono is a type B army hospital in the city of Magelang. This hospital basically provides health services to Tentara Nasional Indonesia (Indonesian National Army or TNI), Pegawai Negeri Sipil –TNI (Civil Servants of TNI or PNS-TNI), and their families, and also provides health services to the general public. With Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (Social Security Administrative Agency or BPJS) program from the government, it is expected that RST dr.Soedjono can determine its business strategy in the BPJS era. This research is Descriptive. Business strategic plan must be made with reference to the results of the analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) and Balance Scorecard (BSC). The results of the SWOT analysis showed to be in quadrant 1 (Aggressive Strategy) while the Balance Scorecard approach gave good picture of both the financial perspective and learning and growth perspective. Strong commitment is needed from all employees of RST dr.Soedjono to implement business strategic plan at the hospital. Apart from that, it is necessary to increase the outpatient rooms, inpatient care, and emergency room and improve the quality of services so that the overall service can be more optimal.
