Back ground and objective: The nosocomial infection are abig problem in all of the hospital around the word. The prevalence of nosocomial infection in developing countries are two and three time higher than in Europe or America. The incidence of nosocomial infections in intensive care units is higher than outsite the intensive care unit. The objective of this study is to analize the effect of education about hand hygiene on knowledge, attitude and handwashing compliance to the paramedics
Metodology : The reasearch is quasy experimental reasearch disign with pre test and post test non control research design
Results : The analisys result of nurses knowledge about hand washing wich was obtined is p= 0,989 (p > 0,05), there is no significant different (Wilcoxon test). The analises result of non nurses knowledge wich was obtined is p=0,510 ( > 0,05), there is ni difference. The analisys results of attitude of the nurse wich was obtined p = 0,720, there is no difference, the analisys results of attitude of non nurse wich was obtined p = 0,080, there is no difference. The analisys results of handwashing action of of the nurse wich was obtined p = 0,158, there is no difference. The analisys results of handwashing action of of non nurse wich was obtined p = 0,489, there is no difference.
Conclution : the education of hand hygiene has not significantly change the knowledge, attitude and handwashing compliance
