      Abstract
The Bantul Regency Maritime Fisheries and Fisheries Food Service (DP2KP) in 2016 has designated three villages in Dlingo District as cocoa production centers. The three regions include Muntuk, Mangunan and Terong Villages. This research was conducted in Terong Village because a lot of rice fields were converted into cocoa plantations. The government built cocoa centers in the 3 villages because there was still a lot of vacant land that had not been planted, so the government took the initiative to vacate the land to plant cocoa. This study aims to determine the profile of farmers, responses and influencing factors. The method used in this research is Scoring and Spearman Rank. Analysis with the scoring method obtained knowledge of 15.2 (enough to know). Attitudes equal to 14.5 (quite happy) and actions that are divided into 3 namely do not care 50%, not suitable (unconformity) 28.3% and appropriate (conformity) / no change of function 21.7%. As for the Spearman Rank method, the results of age variable do not have a correlation with knowledge (Cognitive), attitude (affective) and action (Conative); Educational variables have a positive correlation with knowledge (Cognitive) that is equal to (rs = 0.319), while with attitude (affective) and action (conative) there is no correlation; the variable of farming experience is not correlated with knowledge (cognitive), attitude (affective) and action (conative); land area variable has a correlation with action (conative) while with knowledge (cognitive) and attitude (affective) there is no correlation; income variable has a negative correlation with attitude (affective) that is equal to (rs = -0,291) while with knowledge (cognitive) and action (conative) there is no correlation.
