      Abstract
      Background: The infant mortality rate in the city of Bantul shows a fluctuating trend between 2012 - 2017 caused by Low Birth Weight (LBW) and congenital abnormalities. IMCI is an integrated approach to children's health that focuses on the welfare of all children. IMCI aims to reduce mortality, illness and disability, and to promote better growth and development among children under the age of five. The government in this case the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia continuously strives to improve the quality and coverage of IMCI services in Puskesmas with various strategies that will lead to improved quality of human resources, service management and evaluation of coverage in health services with the IMCI approach. Research Purposes: The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of IMCI at the Puskesmas. Research Method: The type of research was observational research design. The study sample consisted of 7 Puskesmas at Bantul district that had implemented IMCI. The research instrument used structured interviews, observation sheets and documentary studies. The analysis technique used is univariate which includes a description of the stages of implementation presented in the form of a frequency distribution table and the percentage contained in the stages of implemented IMCI such as: Input, Output and Process. Result: The results of the study showed that the implementation of IMCI in the Puskesmas in Bantul was not fully in accordance with the implementation procedures. The results of this study indicate that there are only 3 Puskesmas that have implemented IMCI in accordance with the implementation procedure.
