      Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries that has a tropical climate which causes a very high diversity of flora or fauna, one of which is snake. The large number of snake species in Indonesia has an impact on the high number of snake bites. Snakebite is an injury caused by a dangerous and lifethreatening snake bite. In 2009, WHO calcified snake bites into a list of neglected tropical diseases. This situation requires the first handling quickly and right before the victim arrived at the hospital. Recommended first aid methods such as calming victims, immobilizing and transferring patients to the hospital immediately The purpose of this study was to determine the community's perception of the first treatment in snake bite cases. This type of research is descriptive quantitative non-experimental. The subjects of this study were 87 people of Mancasan Hamlet who were male. The technique of collecting data is done by ordinal scale questionnaire. The analysis technique used is univariate. The results of this study show that the community has a perception that the first treatment in snake bite cases is in sufficient categories.
