      Abstract
      Periodontal disease is one of the global oral health problems and periodontitis it still the main cause of tooth loss in adults throughout the world. Periodontitis had been causing negative impact which it made discomfortness due to tooth loss. Teeth loss either one or several teeth can cause functional and aesthetic disorders that can affect a person's level of satisfaction. There are several treatments to deal with teeth loss, one of them is splinting treatment. Splinting is a therapy that connects several tooth in order to improve tooth stability due to periodontitis. The purpose of this study was to determined the description of patient’s satisfaction level with periodontitis accompanied by dental leukation after splinting in RSGM UMY. The method of this research was observational descriptive, with a total sample of 38 respondents. The sample inclusion criteria were all patients who had performed splinting by a young dentist at RSGM UMY and all patients who had performed splinting by a young dentist at RSGM UMY with a degree of tooth lesion ≥2. Sample exclusion criteria were patients who were not willing to be respondents. The results indicates that based on all dimensions, 26,95% patients were very satisfied, 62,63% were satisfied, 8,74% were not enough satisfied, 1,47% were not satisfied, and 0,21% were very unsatisfied. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, namely frequency distribution, so that the percentage level of satisfaction of the research results will be known. The conclusion of level of patient satisfaction toward splinting treatment at RSGM UMY is 62,63% of the patients were satisfied.
