      Abstract
Soil is the most important part of the construction work. Siltstone has a strong bearing capacity that is easily decreased when experiencing wet and dry cycles. In dry conditions, siltstone has high durability, while in wet conditions siltstone becomes weathered and disintegrated. The aim of this study was to analyse the effect of cement stabilization on the slake durability index of siltstone with 0% and 10% cement content which experienced wet and dry cycles. The slaking test conducted according to ASTM 2004 standard D4644. Two mixing methods namely spray mixing and dry mixing were used in this study. The soil sample used in this test is disturbed soil. Samples are moulded using 2 types of moulds, unconfined compression strength mould and triaxial mould with a weight of up to 40-60g. The results showed that the slake durability index of specimen with spray mix is higher than dry mix method
