      EVALUASI PENGOBATAN PADA PASIEN DIARE ANAK USIA 0-5 TAHUN DI INSTALASI RAWAT JALAN RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH GAMPING YOGYAKARTA

      Abstract
      The high incidence of diarrhea can cause death in infants aged 0-5 years. IDAI formulated drug management therapy of diarrhea in children, named Lintas Diare (Lima Langkah Tuntaskan Diare) with the administration of ORS, zinc supplement, breastfeeding and nutritious intake, selective antibiotics, and advice for mothers. In Yogyakarta, the cases of diarrhea in children are still high, so it is necessary to evaluate drug therapy. This study aims to determine the treatment profile, evaluation the drug therapy based on PPK Diare and DRPs assesment based on PCNE V8.02. This research was non-experimental study with a cross-sectional design. Data was collection retrospectively use the medical record in January to December 2018 at outpatients installation PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital Yogyakarta. Based on this study, there are 47 patients, consist of 24 male patients (51%) and 23 woman patients (49%). Class of drugs is prescribed such as probiotics (32%), zinc (30%), antibiotics (15%), with the average treatment using 3 combinations of drugs (44.7%), with dosage forms prescribed likes syrup ( 51.6%), and powder (37.7%). The evaluation of drug therapy in diarrhea treatment based on this study result in 52% of appropriate prescriptions and 48% were not suitable in cases of non-infectious diarrhea and 100% prescribed suitable in cases of infection based on PPK diarrhea. Thirty-one patients have DRPs drug selection (83%): 18 patients receiving drugs without indication and 13 patients with indication of not being treated properly and 7 patients have DRPs dose selection (17%): 3 patients receiving sub-therapy drugs, 3 patients dosing excess and 1 patient with an excessive regimen.
