      Abstract
The Vanda tricolor orchids are endemic orchids, which are grown around the slopes of Merapi volcano. The use of growing regulators on three growth medium can affect the growth of the Vanda tricolor orchids. The research aims to obtain a medium and a substitution cytokinins to the multiplication of the Vanda tricolor orchids. The study uses the complete randomized design of a single factor, which is stacked in as many as 6 treatments: the 3g/L leaf fertilizer Medium; POC 3ml/L and MS 4, 43g are added Thidiazuron 2mg/L, young corn extract 100ml/L.The results showed the POC 3ml/L Thidiazuron 2mg/L and the 100ml/L young corn extract could induce callus.POC 3ml/L Thidiazuron 2mg/L indicates the number of larger leaves (1.15 strands), the color of the leaf with a score (4/2.5 green yellow).Medium POC 3ml/L and Young corn extract 100ml/L can be a medium substitution and cytokine for the multiplication of the Vanda tricolor orchids.
