Research on the cadre of parents of children in Muhammadiyah is still rarely found. In fact, the role in the cadre of parents towards their children is very strategic in forming good and quality human beings. This study aims to reveal the process of parental cadre of children in Muhammadiyah and the purpose of cadre in the family. This research is a qualitative-phenomenological study with 16 participants from 3 families in the Head of Muhammadiyah Cakru Branch in Jember. Data was collected through interviews and focus group discussions that were analyzed inductively. The results showed that in the cadre process, parents have provided habituation or were a good example consistently to children in the organization. From all subjects, there is a fulfillment of the needs of the afterlife prosperity. Cadre even more focused on spiritual and educational aspects, such as strengthening worship and morals, active habituation in activities in Muhammadiyah, and sending their children to Muhammadiyah educational institutions. However parents also apply good communication, so that between children and parents there is an emotional closeness and mutual openness. Their goal is to cadre their children to grow into a generation of Muslims who can become pioneers, directors and perfect the preaching movement in the future.
