dc.description.abstract | introduction
Necrosis tooth could possibly caused by trauma. Necrosis tooth with fracture caused by trauma could lead to intrinsic discoloration. Intrinsic discoloration caused by blood vessel ruptured that make hemoglobin infiltrate into tubuly dentinalis which cause discoloration. There are various kinds of alternative treatments for fracture tooth with discoloration.
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to report the treatment for fracture tooth with discoloration with root canal treatment followed by intracoronal bleaching and permanent restoration.
Case: A female patient age 22 years old, right maxilla lateral incisivus necrotic pulp with class II Ellis fracture and intrinsic discoloration. One visit root canal treatment was carried out and one week evaluation was undertaken before doing walking bleach intracoronal bleaching method. Then one week after, evaluation was carried out which showed desirable color transformation, then the tooth continued with permanent restoration.
Conclusion
Necrotic pulp with discoloration could be treated with intracoronal bleaching. | en_US |
