      Abstract
      The reliability of protection devices in an electrical distribution network is needed, especially placement, setting and coordination perposes for recloser in FCO. These three points will affect the level of reliability of a network. Recloser and FCO placement can be determined by calculating the SAIDI, SAIFI and Fitness values in the Distribution Transformer and FCO. The biggest Fitness value is the right location for placement of recloser and FCO in a network. The setting and selection of ratting on the recloser and the FCO can be calculated using a formula in accordance with the SPLN provisions. The setting in the recloser focus on the OCR and GFR relay setting where the setting include (Io>, Io >> Instant moment, TMS and t Working time), while the selection of the FCO ratting is determined based on the nominal current of the transformer that overload the FCO. After doing the calculations, it is necessary to do a simulation and see the recloser and FCO working chart using the Etap 12.6.0 application. By paying attention to the placement, setting, ratting and simulation with software, the coordination between the protective devices can work well if there is interference in the form of short-circuit current and the reliability of the network is also ensured good.
