      Abstract
      Manufacture of agricultural products, which is one form of agro-industry produces a variety of processed agricultural products, such as the form of food preferred by consumers. One type is a growing industry in the district of Banjar is the business of making soy tempe. The research was conducted in the District of Banjar in May 2016. This aimed (1) Determine the tempe industry profile in the District of Banjar, (2) Determine the costs, benefits and revenues of tempe industry in District Banjar and ( 3) Knowing tempe revenue contribution to total income family of artisans in the district of Banjar. The basic method used in this research is descriptive analysis method, and for sampling done using census method. The analysis is the analysis of revenues and profits. Based on the calculation, the average production costs in the industry tempe is Rp 13,560,346 with an average of income is Rp 3,343,692 and Rp 2.682.790 to an average profit of average output (tempe) generated for one month production of 1619.3548 kgs. The revenue contribution of the industrial tempe greater than revenue from outside the industry tempe, namely to contribute for 75.42% of the total income of the family. Based on the results, the craftsmen need to maintain and develop the industrial businesses with records management controlled regularly.
