      Abstract
      Cheating behavior is a form of cheating that is so rife by students in every educational institution done by students during school exams even they cheat during computer-based National Examinations (UN). Therefore, cheating behavior is feared to have an adverse effect on the development of student attitudes and really need to be overcome. The research method used is a qualitative method with a Case Study Approach. The reason that underlies the selection of this Qualitative Method is that humans as the subject under study are active creatures, who have freedom of will, so they need to be approached with qualitative studies to understand and explore the problem in detail and in full. The results of this study are strategies to overcome cheating behavior in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Pondok Pesantren Teknologi Riau (PTR) are by taking preventive measures, curative actions, fostering noble morals, applying honesty education, supervising examinations closely, and giving sanctions and punishment to students who cheated. Thus, this research can reduce cheating behavior in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Pondok Pesantren Teknologi Riau, therefore this study recommends that this strategy can be carried out in the other educational institutions.
