THE EFFECT OF GIVING LOUNCHING METHANOL EXTRACT OF Eurycoma longifolia Jack TO ACTIVITY OF PROLIFERATION LIMFOSIT OF SPLEEN ON MENCIT GALUR BALB/C FEMALE WHICH IS INFECTION L. Monocytogenes
ABSTRACT
Indonesia have the natural resources in the form of various type of drug crop which traditionally have been exploited since along hereditary. Among the drug crop is Eurycoma longifolia Jack what traditionally which used for example as tonic pascapartum, anti microbe, anti hypertension, anti inflammation, anti pirethic and cure the stomachache, ulcus, malaria, dysentery and most recognized as strong drug (afrodisiak). In this time, E. longifolia Jack developed as drug crop capable to improve the immured system of body through the immured system arrangement mechanism (immunomodulator).
This research aim to study the activity of proliferation limfosit of spleen of mouse which groove Balb/female c which infection L. monocytogenes by in vitro after stimulated extract of E. longifolia Jack.
This research represent the pure research experimental with the approach of post test-only control group design. Data-processing result of research analyzed to use the complete random device or completely randomized design (factorial CRD) Pattern (extract treatment of perception time/measurement) with the trust level 95% (p=0,05). Statistic test used at this research is test analyze the one track variant (One Way Anova). Test the ANOVA in this research used to test the difference as a whole average of activity of proliferacy limfosit between various group in research do not couple.
Result of research indicate that the methanol extract of E. longifolia Jack have an effect on to activity of limfosit proliferacy at test animal which infection by L. monocytogenes. Result of other research show there are difference is make-up of activity of limfosit proliferacy at animal group try which infected by L. monocytogenes with the giving methanol extract of E. longifolia Jack and animal group try without giving methanol extract of this plant. Make-up of highest activity limfosit proliferacy found at giving of methanol extract dose of 200 mg / kg BB/day on third after infection. This indicate that the methanol extract dose of most effective stimulate of activity of limfosit proliferacy at mouse which female groove Balb/c which infection by L. monocytogenes is 200 mg/kg BB/ day on third after infection.
