dc.description.abstract | Satisfaction with diabetes mellitus /DM drug therapy affects the effectiveness and adherence of treatment in diabetes patients. This study aims to determine the description of satisfaction with type 2 DM drug therapy in primary care patients. The study design was a cross-sectional study. We included 109 DM patient-participants. The data was collected through face-to-face interviews using the Medicine Therapy Satisfaction Questionnaire (TSQM) questionnaire. TSQM can assess the satisfaction of DM drug therapy, then analyzed bivariate by statistical software. TSQM scores are presented descriptively. The results showed that the average TSQM 4 domains. The four domains are the domain of effectiveness; 61,583 ± 11,598, side effect domain; 54,011 ± 32,340, comfort domain; 66,883 ± 8,805, and global satisfaction domain; 55,715 ± 11,274. Based on these results, it is known that the satisfaction of DM drug therapy. Patients in primary care facilities are sufficient. However, the lowest domain is the side effect domain, while the highest domain is the domain of satisfaction with the comfort in using drug therapy. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the level of satisfaction with DM drug therapy is sufficient. DM Patients need to be educated about the possibility of side effects due to drug use. | en_US |
