dc.description | Blended Learning (BL) in which students experienced learning both face to face and online meeting has gained
its popularity in higher education levels since more than a decade. This model of learning has provided students with
numerous flexibilities because learning is no more limited to place and time. In other words, it can be said that BL has
enabled borderless and limitless learning for students. This research investigates students’ attitudes towards Blended
Learning (BL) implementation in an EFL classrooms at an Islamic private university in Yogyakarta. Using descriptive
quantitative research design in which questionnaires were used as data collection method, and involving 151
participants, this study found several interesting findings. The research finding revealed that there were several positive
attitudes towards the implementation of BL, especially in the EFL classrooms of this Islamic private university. In
particular, this research found that BL has met students’ satisfactions such as enhancing students’ English language
skills, assisting students’ collaborative learning, and creating interesting and interactive learning. Furthermore, it reflects
the teacher and students’ interactions and provides sufficient time for the students to do their tasks. That way, the
students took responsibility on their own learning such as time and place and the resources. These findings are beneficial
for the university to take more effective strategies in relation to BL implementation. | en_US |
