Intercultural conflict has been defined as an inappropriate values, norms and process accepted by at least two cultures concerning on the content of the issue, identity and relation. Conflict between Rhoma Irama and Inul Daratista, therefore, can basically can be classified as an intercultural conflict which was caused by an incoherent perception among both in understanding values and social or religious norms. Hence, in collectivist society like Indonesia, however, a conflict that occured between Rhoma Irama and Inul Daratista is trully represented unharmonious relation between two groups; those are permissive and secular group and a religious group.
