dc.description.abstract | The goal of this study is to identify factors that influence lecturers' intention to adapt e-learning technology. This research attempts to investigate whether perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influence behavioral intention in using e-learning and investigate gender as moderating variable. Perceived usefulness is the degree to which a person believes that using a particular system would enhance his or her job performance. Perceived ease of use is the degree to which a person believes that using a particular system would be free of effort.
The population in this research is all the lectures at Faculty of Economics Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta. There are 43 lecturers. This research proves that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influence behavioral intention. The results support hypothesis 1 and hypothesis 2. Other result showed that gender did not moderate the relationship between perceived usefulness and behaviour intention, as well as the relationship between perceived ease of use and behaviour intention. Thus the results did not support hypothesis 3 3 and hypothesis 4. | en_US |
