PENGARUH STRES KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DENGAN KECERDASAN EMOSI SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERATING (Pada BMT Beringharjo Yogyakarta)
Abstract
This research aimed at finding out the influence of stress toward workers’ performance with emotional intelligence as the moderating variable at BMT Beringharjo Yogyakarta.
The data used in this research was primary data in the from of numbers. The data were collected from the questionnaires handed to BMT Beringharjo Yogyakarta employee. The sample were gathered using simple random sampling and the sample were 45 employee. The data analysis was conducted using simple linier regression analysis, and it was conducted in two phases: firstly, the analysis was conducted without moderating variable: secondly, the analysis was conducted with moderating variable.
The result of the research indicated that work stress variable had negative and significant influence towards workers’ performance (0,000 , 0,05). After emotional intelligence was used to moderate the independent variable, the result was that work stress variable had positive and not significant influence towards workers’, performance.
