HUBUNGAN FREKUENSI RIWAYAT SEKSIO SESAREA DENGAN KEJADIAN PLASENTA PREVIA PADA KEHAMILAN BERIKUTNYA DI RSUD PANEMBAHAN SENOPATI BANTUL PERIODE TAHUN 2013-2015
Abstract
Background of the Research: Sectio Caesarea is the birthing process through an incision on the abdomen and uterus. In 1996, the number of Sectio Caesarea in US was 19,7% of total childbirth. While in 2011, there was 31,3% of the total childbirth. The Placenta Previa complicates 0,4% - 0,8% of the total pregnancies and dealing with the emergency birth through the Caesarea surgery with the maternal and neonatal morbidities (Eschbach et al, 2015). According to Llewelyn dan Jones (2004), the Placenta Previa occurred in 0,5% of the total pregnancies, and responsible to the 20% cases of antepartum hemorrhage. The objective of the research was to determine the correlation between the frequency of Sectio Caesarea childbirth and the Placenta Previa on the next subsequent pregnancy on the pregnant women in Panembahan Senopati Public Hospital Bantul year 2013-2015.
Research Method: This research was a descriptive correlative research with the cross sectional approach. The sample of this research was 2061 pregnant women with the total sampling method. The instrument of the research was the pregnant women medical records in The Obstetrics Division, Panembahan Senopati Public Hospital Bantul.
Research Result : There was correlation between the frequency of Sectio Caesarea Prior and the Placenta Previa on the next subsequent pregnancy on the pregnant women in Panembahan Senopati Public Hospital Bantul year 2013-2015 with the Chi Square score = 8,706 (Chi Square table = 5,991).
Conclusion: There was correlation between the frequency of Sectio Caesarea childbirth and the Placenta Previa on the next subsequent pregnancy on the pregnant women in Panembahan Senopati Public Hospital Bantul year 2013-2015
