The number of chronic renal failure patients having an increase in every years. Chronic renal failure patients needed dialysis therapy for maintain their life. Hemodialysis is therapy much used chronic renal failure patients. Hemodialysis have an impact one of them is psychological like the anxiety. Patient that have a anxiety caused to hemodialysis did not optimum. Objective: The aim of this study was to know factors related to the anxiety level of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in PKU Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Methods: This study was a quantitative research with cross sectional approachment. Technique that used is total sampling technique and gets 85 respondent. Data collected in April 2016. Collecting data used Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) 7 Questionnaire and Social Supoort Quetionnaire (SSQ) 6. The analysis of this reasearch is univariat analysis and bivariat analysis that use Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Somers’d correlation test. Results: The results of univariat analysis is the majority of patients was at the beginning of the erderly (46-55 years old) (36,5 %), male patients (69,4 %), patient that have job (56,5 %), patient that more than 6 month hemodialysis (89,5 %), patients with bad social support (61,2 %), and patients with minimal anxiety level (76,5 %). The result of bivariat analysis gets p > 0,05 that means there is no meaningfull correlation between dependent variabel and independent variabel. Conclusion: There is no meaningfull correlation between factors age, gender, job, the length of hemodialysis and social support with the anxiety level of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis in PKU Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta.
