      Abstract
      Dental dental equipment that is often used to be contaminated with bacteria and microorganisms if the tool does not sterilize. Based on the problems that needed sterilizer, whereas the existing sterilizer is still manual, the temperature used is not in accordance with the sterilization of dental unit and non-metallic equipment can not be sterilized with high temperatures. Writers interested in creating a sterilizer utilizing a heating element with a temperature of 1600C suitable for sterilization of dental unit and utilizes ultraviolet light to sterilize dental equipment that is not strong against high temperature, thermocouple as a temperature sensor and ATMega 16 as a controller module. Based on the results of laboratory tests that have been done with the author concluded that, after the unit of dental equipment is sterilized using ultraviolet sterilization contained three bacterial colonies, and dry heat sterilization are two colonies of bacteria. It can be concluded that the author made effective module and is able to kill bacteria in dental unit.
