      Abstract
      This research aims to know the factors that influence the production of organic rice farming and to know the degree of technical, allocative, and economic efficiency. This research was done in Wijirejo village, Pandak subdistrict, Bantul Regency by using purposive sampling. The data was collected by using sensus which involved all of the farmers of organic rice with 33 people who are inconsolidated in Gapoktan “Mitra Usaha Tani”. Primary data were collected through direct interview by using questionnaire. Then, the data were analyzed using a production function model of Cobb-Douglas Frontier. The results indicated that land, seed and organic manure influenced to organic rice production positively. Whereas, petroganik manure and labor influenced to organic rice production negatively. The degree of technical efficiency that achieved by organic rice farming in Pandak subdistrict is 0,71, so that it is not efficient. Land and organic manure are not efficient while seed has not been efficient. In average, organic rice farming has not achieved allocative efficiency because its value is more than 1 (3,704). Therefore, economic efficiency of organic rice farming in Pandak subdistrict also has not been efficient because its value is 2,635.
