      Abstract
      Save a drowning person requires immediate response or handling without forgetting about self safety factor. A good and correct rescue technique does not just ease the rescuer in performing a rescue but it also ensures the safety of the rescuers. The society lack of knowledge and understanding about the ways of helping a drowning person will lead to panic when faced with an emergency situation and will lead to an incorrect rescue method that could endanger the safety of the victim as well as the rescuer themselves. The purpose of this research is to develop a desktop-based game titled Water Rescue as a learning tool to increase the knowledge and understanding of children about how to save a drowning person. With better knowledge, society will be able to face emergency situations or conditions without panic and will be able to provide proper help without endangering themselves. Based on the pre-test and post-test evaluation done before and after children have played the Water Rescue game, it can be concluded that the Water Rescue game has succeeded in increasing the children's knowledge on save a drowning person. This is proven through their test scores that tend to increase after playing the game.
