PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN VARIASI BUSI TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK PERCIKAN BUNGA API DAN KINERJA MOTOR HONDA BLADE 110 CC
Abstract
The expansion of knowledge and technology (Science) recently causes many skills in its term more progressive especially in the automotive concern. One of the efforts done to increase motorcar vehicles performances is by improving and optimizing its wrung dry system to complete the ignition quality in a machine performance which one of the ways is by using spark plug with a better quality. Therefore, it needs a comprehension to understand the influence of spark plug variation on the characteristics of fire blossom fragment and the performance of 4 (tak) motorbike.
The method of the research uses an experiment to know the effect of sparkplug variation on torsion [T], power [Ne], and fuel consumption [fc] on Honda Blade motor bike from the year of 2011 with 110 cc fuel capacity. To attain a burning process there is a system which has an important role namely firing system. Firing system is one of gasoline motorbike systems that ensures itself to run. Its function is to create fire blossom by using ignition coil which is then distributed to spark plug through high strains cable to burn fuel mixture that has been compressed in the burning room. Firing system must be able to produce fire blossom fragment in the right time and when the motorbike experiences both speed and load alteration, the system must be able to adjust until the motorbike can work perfectly.
The outcome of the research shows that every type of spark plug has different characterisctics and color of fire blossom. To maximum torsion is produced by using DURATION sparkplug double iridium with maximum capacity [10.26 N.m] which is produced by using NGK platinum spark plug in the amount of [9.3 HP] at machine circle [7029 rpm]. The best fuel consumption using NGK platinum spark plug can decrease its fuel consumption up to 0.0986%.
