Toddler age is a childhood which began to walk on his or her own until they are able to run. Toddler is approaching the age of 12 mounth to 36 months. Toddler aged 0 to 3 years are at risk of injury. The Research conducted in Posyandu Anyelir A, Tegalwangi, Kasihan Bantul, Yogyakarta. Based on the results are known 19 parents who have children ages 1 to 3 years showed that 89.4% of children had experienced injuries such as falls, cuts, and wedges. Then, around 84.2% of parents had a first aid kits, and 36.8% of parents said handling injuries by using the first aid kit, 26.3% said that when the child get injure, the parents were immediately taken to the nearest health center, and parents who treated the wound using traditional medicine was 31 , 5%. The determine whether there is correlation between parents’ intellectual and the manners in using first aid kit in order to treat the injury of toddler in the family. The research used descriptive Correlation research with cross sectional approach. Samples are parents who have children toddler and has a first aid kit in their house. Sampling used total sampling technique. There were 29 parents as the respondent in the research. Based on Spearman rho test between the variables parents of knowledge with manners of using first aid kit with the result of p = 0.47. The level of parents of knowledge is high and the parents' behavior is good. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is no significant correlation between parents’ intellectual and the manners in using first aid kit in order to treat the injury of toddler in the family.
