The phenomenon is happening now many teenage boys who get information about puberty from the wrong source. Many teen boys getting information from sources that cannot be accountable such as from the internet and peers. This can be very dangerous because the information obtained is not necessarily true. Therefore the role of a father is very important to her teens in providing information about puberty Objective: The purpose of the research to know role of the father against teenage boys early in dealing with puberty in SMP N 2 Gamping. Methodology: This research used descriptive quantitative research , used cross sectional approach . Sampling technique in this study using total sampling technique as many as 90 people in SMP N 2 Gamping. A father's role is measured used a questionnaire containing 15 items statement. Result: Most of the role of the father against teenage boys early in dealing with puberty is sufficient categories as much as 68 respondents ( 75.6 % ) in SMP N 2 Gamping. The father’s role as friend and playmate is sufficient categories as much 54 respondent (60,0%). The father’s role as a teacher and role model is sufficient categories as much 54 respondent (60,0%). Conclusion: the role of the father against teenage boys early in dealing with puberty in SMP N 2 Gamping is categorized quite as much as 68 respondent (75.6%).
