      Abstract
      Motif is a mover. Reasons or impulses in humans that causes people to do something. Motif gives destination on human behavior. Actions and behavior in persons necessarily correspond with the wishes and needs. Subjects in this research is the television program My Trip My Adventure aired by TV TRANS. Impressions My Trip My Adventure serving adventure travel programs to various tourist attractions in Indonesia. While that become the object of research is the students who are members of the organization Mahasiswa Pencinta Alam (MAPALA) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Most of the activities carried out by members of MAPALA UMY located in tourist attractions such as mountains, seas, rivers, cliffs, etc., which is also the presentation of the show My Trip My Adventure. Not a few of the members MAPALA UMY who witnessed My Trip My Adventure The aim of this study was to determine what motive that member of MAPALA UMY encourage to watch the show of My Trip My Adventure. This type of research is a survey research with kuantitatif approach. Took place at the Secretariat MAPALA UMY. taken 69 respondents who had seen the show My Trip My Adventure. Collecting data using questionnaires. Validitasdan test data reliability using Confirmatiry Factor Analysis (CFA) while the data analysis technique used is the average difference using the One Sample T-Test. Results from this study showed that the most powerful motives that influence student members MAPALA UMY to watch shows My Trip My Adventure is Motive Entertainment, the second is Motif Information, then Motif Social Integration, and the last is Motif Personal Identity.
