This study can see how the audience's reception of the women's hero in the Hunger Games movie of the of the Women's movement Nasyiatul Aisyiyah and Nonton YK Community. This movie tells about women who sacrifice themselves for family and her district, so with the decision she take, she be a female hero in this movie. This study using study of audiences or method reception analysis from Stuart Hall encoding- decoding, that is dominant hegemonic, negotiated oppositions and opposition opposition. with using reception analysis, researcher can find can find the results of audience reception from Nasyiatul Aisyiyah dan Nonton YK. The result of this study showing audience reception Nasyiatul Aisyiyah dan Nonton YK in Hunger Game Movie involve : First, Audience reception to figure of the women's hero on the Hollywood movie. second, Character Katniss as a women's hero, third, attribute Katniss as a women's hero on the Hollywood movie, fourth the role of man as a companion women's hero. Thus meanings from this study showing that, almost all audience on this study into the category dominant hegemonic who agree with the values in the Hunger game movie, Women in this movie described as masculine ( Character, outfit, and the attribute ) and character of women in this movie not be used as a sex object. And male as women companion hero looks play an important role (sacrifice and helpfulness).
