dc.description.abstract | Background : One of the assessment criteria for hospital services is health services provided by paramedics who were in the emergency room. Physical a hospital is something that very important for a hospital. Physical fields including construction, performance space, and supporting infrastructure. This study aims to describe from the emergency room users for the physical condition of emergency room during a post occupancy evaluation of emergency room PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Unit II Hospital.
Method : This study is a descriptive observational. The type of data and data analysis in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. The population in this study are the internal and external users emergency room. The total sample of 56 respondents. Data analysis was then performed using triangulation to data processing and conclusions.
Result and Discussion : Physical performance results show emergency room location is easily accessible by the patient but on the other side is still not enough to accommodate some transportation at the same time. The lighting level is 328 lux, the moisture level is 58% it means appropiate with the technical guidelines, but the noise level is 55,8 db and the room temperature is 27,8C it means not appropiate with the technical guidelines. According to the result of observation in 5 location, the result for safety category is good, security category is good and comfort is enough.
Summary : from the research that has been done, we can conclude that based on users perception views from safety category, security category and comfort needs to be improved. | en_US |
