      Abstract
      Pharmaceutical Early Exposure (EPE) one method of learning in which students are introduced to the clinical conditions. The concept of EPE an initial exposure to students in the clinical world, so that students can do and knowing principles in clinical practice and stimulate students to think critically to solve problems. The study aims to determine the results of the evaluation of EPE block 16 and to determine the effect on the level of knowledge EPE implementation of the 16 students of Pharmacy UMY This research was observational descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was the non-probability sampling through purposive sampling. The samples in this study are pharmacy students year 2013 in Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta who have followed Early Pharmaceutical Exposure in block 16. The number of samples in this study were 26 respondents, were given a questionnaire evaluating the implementation and the level of knowledge of students of block 16 of Pharmacy Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The data obtained were processed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), were then tested using the Wilcoxon test. The research result showed evaluation of the implementation ofEarly Pharmaceutical Exposure, 73,08% goodand 26,92% sufficient. The level of student knowledge before implementing Early Pharmaceutical Expsoure 38,5% good, 61,5% sufficient, after implemented Early Pharmaceutical Exposure knowledge level of students increased, that is 100% good and obtained p value = 0.000 means that there is a difference score significantly to the knowledge level of students.
