This research aimed at finding out the rule of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil in empowering the society through small business financing at BMT Bina Ihsanul Fikri Yogyakarta Branch through strategies. This research employed qualitative method. The data used was primary data obtained directly from BMT Bina Ihsanul Fikri and the customers of financing who got financing using interview technique that can be analyzed descriptively, from the data collected in order to explain the role of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil. The research result shows that financing distribution has significant positive affect towards small business financing. This is shown with the increase of business improvement community.
