      Abstract
      This research aims to describe patterns of organic rice farming in Gapoktan Permatasari, the amount of profit in organic rice farming, the factors that influencingt the production of organic rice and the efficiency of the use of production factors in organic rice farming in Gapoktan Permatasari. The research was conducted in Gapoktan Permatasari in the village of Tirtosari Sawangan Magelang by committed intentionally or purposive sampling. The metod respondents taken by proportional random sampling metod who are members of Gapoktan Permatasari in the village of Tirtosari, a number of 50 farmers were taken as the primary data. The sampling taken by randomly. Farming patterns applied by Gapoktan Permatasari is organic rice crop monoculture farming and cattle riser. Data obtained by using a questionnaire with the interview methods. In the study the advantages of organic rice farmers during the planting in one season is 3.15333 million rupiah. The data were analyzed using a production fungcion model of Cobb-Douglass to determine production of organic rice. The results showed that the land area, seed, solid fertilizers, liquid fertilizers, pesticides and labor have a real influence of organic rice production. While in partial land area and seed who is influential real. The use of the seed on organic rice farming has been efficient, while the use of land area yet efficient.
