| dc.description | Pulpa merupakan pusat saraf dan pembuluh darah pada gigi yang sangat berperan penting dalam kesehatan gigi. Tindakan pembersihan karies maupun trauma dapat menyebabkan terbukanya pulpa, maka dari itu dilakukan tindakan perlindungan terhadap pulpa yaitu kaping pulpa. Kaping pulpa direk adalah tindakan perlindungan pulpa yang telah terjadi sedikit perforasi pulpa yang kemudian bahan kaping diaplikasikan langsung pada bagian perforasi tersebut. Salah satu bahan kaping pulpa adalah kalsium hidroksida hard setting, yang terkenal sebagai bahan kaping pulpa konvensional dan telah banyak digunakan. Keberhasilan perawatan kaping pulpa direk dapat dilihat melalui evaluasi klinis, histologis, dan radiografis. Evaluasi klinis bertujuan mengetahui kondisi pulpa yang telah dilakukan perawatan melalui pemeriksaan objektif dan subjektif. Penggunaan kalsium hidroksida hard setting sebagai bahan kaping direk di RSGM UMY termasuk dalam kategori tinggi.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui evaluasi secara klinis keberhasilan kaping pulpa direk dengan bahan kalsium hidroksida tipe hard setting di RSGM UMY.
Metode penelitian evaluasi klinis kaping pulpa direk di RSGM UMY ini menggunakan data sekunder, yaitu data rekam medis pasien yang telah dilakukan perawatan kaping pulpa direk selama tahun 2011-2015 di RSGM UMY.
Hasil evalusi klinis kaping pulpa direk di RSGM UMY didapatkan bahwa keberhasilan dengan kategori baik sebesar 89,40%, kategori cukup sebesar 5,30% dan kategori kurang sebesar 5,30%. Perbedaan usia, jenis kelamin tidak terdapat pengaruh berarti dalam keberhasilan. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The pulp is the center of nerves and blood vessels in the tooth has important role in dental health. The cleaning action of caries or trauma can lead to pulp exposure, and therefore the treatment of protection the pulp is pulp capping. Direct pulp capping is pulp protection measures which has been a slight perforation of the pulp which is then capping material applied directly on the perforated section. One material pulp capping is hard setting calcium hydroxide, which is renowned as a capping material conventional pulp and has been widely used. Direct pulp capping successful treatment can be seen through evaluation of clinical, histological and radiographic. Clinical evaluation aims to determine the condition of the pulp that has been taken care through objective and subjective examination. The use of hard setting calcium hydroxide as a material direct pulp capping at the Dental Hospital UMY in the high category.
The purpose of this study was to determine the clinical evaluation of success direct pulp capping with calcium hydroxide material type of hard setting at the Dental Hospital UMY.
Methods clinical evaluation direct pulp capping at the Dental Hospital UMY using secondary data, the medical records of patients who had taken care direct pulp capping during the years 2011-2015 at the Dental Hospital UMY.
The results of the clinical evaluation direct pulp capping at the Dental Hospital UMY found that success with a good category as 89.40%, enough category of 5.30% and 5.30% less category. Differences in age, sex there is no consideratrion means in success. | en_US |
