This research is entitled "Strategi Membangun Kawasan Wisata Keraton Yogyakarta Sebagai Kawasan Wisata Heritage yang Islami (The Tourism Development Strategy For Yogyakarta Palace (Keraton) As An Islamic Heritage)” the goals is to identify an internal factors (strength and weaknes) in improving islamic tourism at “Keraton Yogyakarta”, which identifying (chance and threat) in improving islamic tourism at the area of Keraton Yogyakarta. This research is describes the strategies to improving Islamic tourism which corresponding to do in improving Islamic tourism in the area of Keraton Yogyakarta with using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. This reseacrh is use the random sampling method in chosing respondence. The object of the research in this research is covering visitor and community near the Area of Keraton Yogyakarta. The result data is treated using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and SWOT method analysis. The result of the research is strategies in improving syari’ah tourism which improvement tourist facilities for worship islamic tourist and cleanlines the place to pray for moslem tourist. It is importance because in developing syari’ah tourism basicly must pay attention in cleanlines and easy for tourist to worship.
