dc.description | The objective of this research was to : (1) find out the planning of
ISMUBA teachers in developing students’ emotional and spiritual intelligences
through Islamic activities; (2) analyze the strategy of ISMUBA teachers in
developing students’ emotional and spiritual intelligences; (3) analyze the level of
success of ISMUBA teachers in developing students’ emotional and spiritual
intelligences; (4) find out the hindering and supporting factors in developing
students’ emotional and spiritual intelligences.
This research is a descriptive expost facto research using mixed method.
The research subjects consisted of 5 ISMUBA teachers. The population consisted
of 269 students with 135 students as the samples. The sampling technique was
using stratified sampling. The technique of data collection was done using
interview, documentation, observation, and questionnaire. The quantitative data
were analyzed using descriptive statistic,while the qualitative data were analyzed
descriptive-qualitatively.
The research result shows that: (1) the planning made by ISMUBA
teachers in developing students’ emotional and spiritual intelligences through
Islamic activities is good. This is shown with the preparation, formulation of
activity aims, and structured evaluation as well as thorough sosialization;(2) the
strategy used by ISMUBA teachers in developing students’ emotional and
spiritual intelligences is good. It is shown through materials of Islamic activities
that are related to students’ emotional and spiritual intelligences, suitable method
(exemplary and habit), thorough evaluation and supporting media which are used
optimally (3) the level of success among ISMUBA teachers in developing
emotional and spiritual intelligences is in successful level. This is indicated by the
data showing that out of 135 respondents, 53% of them have good emotional
intelligence. Meanwhile, regarding the spiritual intelligence, 44% of them have
good spiritual intelligence; (4) the hindering factors consist of social media,
students’ interest and talent, social environment,and communication with parents.
The supporting factors consist of IFDS (Islamic Fullday School) program and

dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui perencanaan guru ISMUBA
dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual siswa melalui kegiatan
keislamaan. (2) Menganalisis strategi Guru ISMUBA dalam mengembangkan
kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual siswa. (3) Menganalisis tingkat keberhasilan guru
ISMUBA dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual siswa.(4)
Mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam mengembangkan
kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual siswa.
Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif expost facto dengan
pendekatan mixed method. Subjek penelitiannya adalah Guru ISMUBA yang
berjumlah 5 orang. Sedangkan untuk siswa populasi berjumlah 269 anak dengan
sampel 135 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified sampling.
Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi,
observasi dan angket. Untuk data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif,
sedangkan data kualitatif secara deskriptif kualitatif. .
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan Guru ISMUBA dalam
mengembangkan kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual melalui kegiatan keislaman
sudah baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya persiapan, perumusan tujuan
kegiatan, dan pelaksanaan evaluasi yang terstruktur serta sosialisasi yang sudah
menyeluruh. (2) Strategi Guru ISMUBA dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan
emosi dan spiritual siswa sudah baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan materi kegiatan
keislaman yang berhubungan dengan kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual siswa,
metode yang sesuai (keteladanan dan pembiasaan), penilaian yang menyeluruh
serta media pendukung yang digunakan secara optimal. (3) Tingkat keberhasilan
Guru ISMUBA dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosi dan spritual siswa
sudah berhasil. Hal ini terbukti dengan data yang menunjukkan dari 135
responden 53% memiliki kecerdasan emosi yang baik. Sedangkan untuk
kecerdasan spiritual menunjukkan 44% memiliki kecerdasan spiritual yang baik.
(4) Faktor penghambat meliputi maraknya media sosial, minat dan bakat siswa,
lingkungan pergaulan, komunikasi dengan orang tua. Faktor pendukung meliputi
