dc.descriptionission of Indonesian Children Protection (KPAI) recorded that the bullying case becomes the highest degree of public report. From 2011 until 2014, KPAI recorded 369 reports related to that problem. Bullying can be happened in education area, including institution of Islamic education in which inside of it is a dormitory. A dormitory is a conducive place, having function such are educative function, social function, and moral function. Yet, actually there are still many bullying cases happened in a dormitory. This research aims to: (1) Describe types of bullying in Islamic Centre Dormitory, Bantul, Yogykarta. (2) Explain factors causing bullying in the dormitory. (3) Illustrate the Islamic Counseling given in handling bullying in the dormitory. (4) Explain obstacle and supporting factors in handling female students with bullying case. The result of the research showed that the types of bullying happened in boarding school Islamic Centre Bantul Yogyakarta are, physically bullying, verbal bullying, and mental/psychological bullying. The internal factors caused the bullying are the female student characteristic and family education, whereas the external factors is the sosial environment. The types of Islamic counseling given are giving advice, motivation, supervisory, and hold a regular gathering (ta’lim). The obstacle is the lack of participation and cooperation from the student’s parents, whereas the supporting factors are a solid cooperation for different parties such as tarbiyah, security, dormitory teacher and class teacher in solving the student’s problem.en_US
dc.description.abstractPrevalensi bullying di Indonesia meningkat setiap tahun. Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) mencatat kasus bullying menduduki peringkat teratas pengaduan masyarakat. Dari 2011 hingga Agustus 2014, KPAI mencatat 369 pengaduan terkait masalah tersebut. Bullying bisa terjadi pada area pendidikan tak terkecuali institusi pendidikan Islam yang didalamnya memfasilitasi adanya asrama. Asrama merupakan tempat yang kondusif, mempunyai fungsi edukatif, sosial, dan moral. Namun demikian, senyatanya masih banyak kasus bullying terjadi di asrama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Memerikan bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying di asrama Islamic Centre Bantul Yogyakarta. (2) Menjelaskan faktor-faktor penyebab perilaku bullying di asrama tersebut. (3) Menggambarkan bimbingan konseling Islami yang diberikan dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying di asrama tersebut. (4) Menjelaskan faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam menangani santriwati yang terlibat kasus bullying. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk perilaku bullying yang terjadi di PP Islamic Centre Bantul Yogyakarta yakni bullying fisik, verbal, dan mental/psikologis. Adapun faktor penyebab internal yakni dari karakteristik santriwati dan pendidikan keluarga, sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan teman sebaya. Bentuk bimbingan konseling Islami yang diberikan seperti pemberian nasihat, motivasi, pemantauan, dan pengadaan ta’lim rutin. Faktor penghambat yakni kurangnya partisipasi dan kerjasama dari orang tua dari beberapa santriwati, sedangkan faktor pendukungnya yaitu adanya kerjasama yang solid dari berbagai pihak seperti tarbiyah, keamanan, wali asrama dan wali kelas dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada santriwati.en_US
