Chili pepper farming is potential to be developed because it can increase the income of the farmers. This research aimed to know the factors production which influence the production of chili pepper in the sand area. Not only that, this study also aimed to know the efficiency and the profit of chili pepper farming in the sand area. The method used in this research was descriptive analysis. In addition, Purposive sampling was used to choose the location of the research in which Bugel village was chosen as the location of this research. 60 farmers from Gisik Pranaji were chosen randomly as the respondent of this research. The result showed that the production factors which influence the production of red hot chili pepper in the sand area was the wide of area, manure, SP 36 fertilizer, NPK mutiara fertilizer, and the labor. The use of factor production which had been efficient was the use SP 36 fertilizer, NPK mutiara fertilizer, and the labor. The use of factor production which had been not efficient was wide of area and manure. The profit which was earned by the farmer of chili pepper in the sand area was Rp 8.234.313.
