This research aims to determine the step of participation members of Gapoktan Gemah Ripah in seed producted and the factors that influence step of participation in the Trirenggo Village, Bantul District. The respondents in this research is all the members of Gapoktan who join in paddy seed production, 40 farmers becomes respondent. Data were collected by interviewed and analyzed in descriptions by using a rank spearmant correlation. The results of this research is the rate of participation in an active category. The rate of Gapoktan member’s participation rate with the increasing age of farmers the lower and increasing the position within the farmer group. education level had no related with the participation of Gapoktan Gemah Ripah
