KORELASI FAKTOR KARAKTERISTIK PETANI DAN SIFAT INOVASI DENGAN DISKONTINUITAS ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI MINA PADI DI KECAMATAN SEYEGAN KABUPATEN SLEMAN
Abstract
Corelation factors farmer characteristic and innovation properties towards the
discontinuity of Mina Padi technology adoption in Seyegan Subdistrict of Sleman Regency. This
research aims at revealing the level of the discontinuity of Mina Padi technology adoption as
well as its relational factors. The sample was taken at Seyegan Subdistrict because this place has
become a world class piloting project by FAO about mina padi model. While the chosen village
from that area was Margodadi village and Margoluwih village, in which those two villages are
the model for mina padi. The sample collection method was conducted by doing a census
towards 56 farmers who experienced the the discontinuity of Mina Padi technology adoption. To
find out the level of the discontinuity of Mina Padi technology adoption, interval counting was
employed based on the land decreasing percentage of mina padi. It was then analysed by using
descriptive analysis. In order to reveal the relational factors of the discontinuity of Mina Padi
technology adoption, it was measured by using descriptive analysis as well. While to know the
correlational factors on the the discontinuity of Mina Padi technology adoption, correlation test
was employed between factors and the discontinuity using Rank Spearman. The result shows that
the level of the discontinuity of Mina Padi technology adoption is mostly high with the land
decreasing percentage is 50%-74.99% or it equals to 37 out of 56 respondents. The relational
factors of the discontinuity of Mina Padi technology adoption include: age with coefficient value
0.340. Triability with coefficient value 0.442. Reliability with coefficient 0.370. Age, realibility,
difficulty, and advantage have a low correlation. While the triability has a significant
correlation.
