This research are based on the interest researchers about how media work and to process events, what was the news, is it meet elements should be contained in the news or not. The research tries to look how Kompas and Kedaulatan Rakyat Newspaper in reporting in the side netting defeat Indonesia in AFF Suzuki CUP 2016. The research uses framing analysis. Model of framing analysis used is Zhondang Pan and Gerald. M Kosicki. From our analysis found that the Kompas framing the defeat of the national team of Indonesia as the momentum to cope with the competition, with logic that the national team of Indonesia must have more attention and training with a sustainable. Beside that, daily Kompas also framing that the national team of Indonesia still exist although reap defeat at AFF Suzuki CUP 2016.
