dc.description | This research is aimed to investigate the condition of reading interest, emotional intelligence, and moral learning outcome, the effect of reading interest toward moral learning outcomes, the effect of emotional intelligence toward moral learning outcome and the effect of reading interest and moral intelligence toward moral learning outcomes of VII grade students of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
This research carried out quantitative approach with causal correlation design (expost facto). There were 40 respondents selected from the total population of 240 respondents. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through descriptive statistic, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression tests.
The findings show that: (1) The VII grade students’ reading interest condition of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is in high category. (2) The emotional intelligence condition of VII grade students of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is in medium category. (3) The moral learning outcomes of VII grade students of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is in good condition. (4) Reading interest doesn’t give a significant effect toward the moral learning outcomes of VII grade students of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. (5) Emotional intelligence significantly influences the students’ moral learning outcomes of VII grade students of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. (6) Reading interest and emotional intelligence simultaneously influence the moral learning outcomes of the VII grade students of Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta of 20,8%. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi minat baca, kondisi kecerdasan emosional, kondisi hasil belajar Akhlak, pengaruh minat baca terhadap hasil belajar Akhlak, pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar Akhlak, serta pengaruh minat baca dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar Akhlak siswa kelas VII Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasi-kausal (expost facto). Sampelnya sebanyak 40 responden dari populasi sebanyak 240 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik dan uji regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kondisi minat baca siswa kelas VII Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta berada pada kategori “Tinggi”. (2) Kondisi kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VII Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta berada pada kategori “Sedang”. (3) Kondisi hasil belajar Akhlak siswa kelas VII Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta berada pada kategori “Baik/B”. (4) Minat baca tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Akhlak siswa kelas VII Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. (5) Kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Akhlak siswa kelas VII Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. (6) Minat baca dan kecerdasan emosional secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Akhlak siswa kelas VII Madrasah Mu’allimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta dengan sumbangan pengaruh sebesar 20,8%. | en_US |
