Conversion of agriculture land use to non agriculture has close link with the life of peasant, as the majority of farmers used land as source of livelihood activities. Since the land use changed, the peasant actually faced the dilemma that elicits a certain response. This study aims to describe the response of farmers, seen from attitudes and behaviour; and to analyze the relationship between the profile of peasants with theirs attiyude towards land conversion. The research wa concluded in Tamantirto, Kasian, Bantul, taking 60 peasant as respondent that were selected proportional randomized. The primary data was collected by interview, and analyzed descriptively to determine the attitude and peasants profile.
