| dc.description | This research aims to find out about the role of France as a mediator in Israel Palestine conflict in 2012-2016. This conflict began in 1948, which both sides claim a region in Palestine with their own perspective. The situation in Israel and the Palestinian territories has become worse, therefore France using the initiative to become a mediator in the case of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
This research use of descriptive research that explains how France as one of geopolitical player in the Middle East take the initiative as a mediator and provides a solution to reach a peace between Israel and the Palestinian. The method of this research is to be collected research library data from the library, books, journals, articles, printed media, electronic media, and web site. The results of this study is to show that France under Francois Hollande, has a foreign policy, made the presidency more dynamic and has prioritized some bilateral relation with Middle East region. In addition, France also invites the public and international partners to support and act on this issue of the conflict. So the Middle East Peace as an initiative to achieve a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Prancis sebagai mediator dalam konflik Israel-Palestina pada tahun 2012-2016. Konflik tersebut dimulai pada tahun 1948, yang masing-masing pihak mengklaim dengan masing-masing alasan atas sebuah wilayah di Palestina. Situasi di Israel dan wilayah Palestina semakin terpuruk, oleh sebab itu, Prancis menggunakan inisitif menjadi seorang mediator dalam kasus konflik Israel-Palestina.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif yang menggambarkan bagaimana Prancis berperan utama secara geo-political di wilayah Timur-Tengah, dan sebagai mediator yang memberikan solusi atau jalan keluar untuk mencapai perdamain terhadap pihak Israel dan Palestina. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah menggunakan library research dari perpustakaan, buku, jurnal, media cetak, media elektronok, dan sumber internet. Hasil dari penenlitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Prancis dibawah kepemimpinan Francois Hollande memiliki kebijakan Luar negeri, pemerintahan yang dinamis, dan memprioritaskan hubungan bilateral dengan kawasan Timur-Tengah. Sebagai tambahan, Prancis juga mengajak masyarakat publik dan pihak Internasional untuk menunjukkan dukungan dan mengambil tindakan terhadap konflik Israel-Palestina. | en_US |
