dc.descriptionIn this current era, in the automotive field, many people would like to improve motorcycle’s power ability without changing the piston and compression Instead they do it by changing the valve diameter and porting. This is the best way for those who want to improve their motorcycle’s ability without have to change the piston and cylinder. This way is also considered easier than changing piston or any other parts. This particular research was done on the cylinder head of Jupiter MX 135CC. The testing was done using dynotest and fuel consumption test was also conducted. The analysis was done by comparing power and machine torque among standard cylinder heads and the modified ones. Moreover, the researcher also contrasted the fuel consumption and standard cylinder heads as well as porting modification along with valve diameter changing. The data obtained from the results of the changes and modifications of valve porting is an increase against the torque of 0, 43N. m and motor power increased by 0.5 HP, while the results of the fuel analysis is the moment the speed of 40 km/h drove 47.5 km for standard cylinder head, while modifications could drove 48 km and at a speed of 60 km/h there are differences namely cylinder head modifiksi the more efficient than a standard cylinder head and can traverse a distance of 46 km, while the standartnya could only traverse a 45 km with 1 liter of fuel.en_US
dc.description.abstractDi era ini bidang otomotif banyak orang yang ingin meningkatkan kemampuan daya motor tanpa merubah piston dan kompresi, maka dengan cara merubah diameter katup dan melakukan porting. Cara ini merupakan jawaban yang baik untuk banyak orang yang ingin meningkatkan kemampuan motor tanpa perubahan piston dan cylinder, cara ini juga dianggap lebih mudah daripada merubah piston atau yang lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada cylinder head Jupiter mx 135CC. Pengujian dilakukan dengan dynotest dan melakukan pengujian konsumsi bahan bakar. Analisa dilakukan dengan membandingkan power dan torsi mesin antara cylinder head standart dan modifikasi. Selain itu juga membandingkan konsumsi bahan bakar dengan cylinder head standart dan modifikasi porting dan perubahan diameter katup. Data yang didapat dari hasil perubahan katup dan modifikasi porting adalah peningkatan terhadap torsi sebesar 0,43 N.m dan daya motor meningkat sebesar 0,5 HP, sedangkan hasil analisa bahan bakar adalah saat kecepatan 40 km/jam menempuh jarak 47,5 km untuk cylinder head standart, sedangkan modifikasi bias menempuh jarak 48 km dan saat kecepatan 60 km/jam ada perbedaan yaitu cylinder head modifiksi semakin irit dibandingkan cylinder head standart dan bias menempuh jarak 46 km sedangkan yang standartnya hanya bias menempuh 45 km dengan bahan bakar 1 liter.en_US
