Abstract
This study aims to determine the probability of well-being of urban and rural individuals in Indonesia. The data used in this research were from the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) data 2014. This research is a longitudinal survey of data panel studies. The objects of the research are individuals aged 15-year-old or above in the 24 provinces which become the survey members. Education, healthy, marital, religious and income were applied as the research variables taken from IFLS household. The data processing was conducted by using the probit regression method and done categorized based on the areas, urban and rural. The results showed that all variables such as length of education, health, marital status, income, religious and regional categories, affect the well-being of individuals both in urban and rural areas. However, in the long run, income does not always affect the level of well-being.
