This study entitled “The Implementation of Religiosity Values by Pesantren Alumni Students (A Case Study on 2014 and 2015 Students of Islamic Studies Faculty of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta)” aims at (1) investigating how pesantren alumni students implement religiosity values, (2) finding and evaluating the factors supporting and hindering the implementation of religiosity values by the pesantren alumni students. This study implemented qualitative approach. The method used was descriptive method. The research data were obtained from interview, observation, and document. The data were analyzed using inductive qualitative analysis method. The results of the study were (1) The pesantren alumni students studying at Faculty of Islamic Studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta have not implemented religiosity values well; viewed from the aspects of morals, worship, and muammalah. (2) The supporting factors in implementing religiosity values were gratefulness for the education given by parents, attendance on discussion sessions to deepen knowledge and strengthen iman, sense of needs toward Allah SWT, remembrance of death, strong principles on religion, and responsibility for keeping the pesantren’s honor. Meanwhile, the hindering factors were change of condition from living in a strict pesantren to living in a free environment, enjoyment of young people’s lives, and laziness which caused hardship in everything, especially in doing prayers.
