The purpose of this study is to more clearly Knowing about the implementation of leadership that is run Lurah Tonggalan, Obtaining data and information on leadership in an effort to improve employee performance Tonggalan District of Klaten District Office Central, and add to the knowledge and experience of the author, especially in the field of leadership Data collected by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative.The results of this study can be concluded that Lurah leadership had an impact on improving the performance of employees. Judging from the total value of the index variable kiriteria respondents about leadership is quite good and the total index value variable respondents on the performance of employees in the building of the village is pretty good.
