      Abstract
      This research is intended to describe the opinion of each member of Info Cegatan Jogja community on the performance of the police in Yogyakarta in 2017. Opinions built by ICJ community members are indirectly an indicator of achievement of Police performance in Yogyakarta. Indicators of the opinion are seen from the main task of the police are Maintaining security and public order, enforce the Law and provide protection, shelter, and service to the community. The descriptive qualitative methodology is used in this research. Based on the research purposes and researcher's consideration, technique that used in this research is purposive sampling. The contents of this research is the result of data retrieval by in-depth interview technique that has been done by the researcher to five informants from the members of Info Cegatan Jogja community. The results of this study show that ICJ community members have different opinions on the performance of the police. In this study, the opinion is influenced by the perception factor, which is influenced by the past experience related to what has been seen, felt, and experienced by someone to a problem and media factor related to the content or content of the news delivered through the media related to the news- news and opinions that develop that have an influence on one's view.
